Cloudyna is organized to help participants understand the complexity, interesting recipes, patterns, new approaches and techniques, secrets of design, implementation, testing and administration of applications in the Cloud. During the conference participants will have the opportunity to meet and prepare in advance for the lurking pitfalls and potential dangers of the public cloud which Cloudyna speakers have had the opportunity to face and they want to share these experiences.

We will see what kind of AWS services will help to us design and build them and finally we will log in to AWS and we will build our own Netflix 2.0 – ‘VoD platform’ which will be hosted across multiple continents with failover design. We will discuss and use services such as Lambda – where we will implement our business logic, S3 – for storing our movies, DynamoDB – as global database, API Gateway for defining HTTPS endpoints, Route53 for DNS support and many more!In this session we will see what are the reasons of building applications which would span across multiple continents. Cloud Native is technology backbone for the innovations, however many organizations are struggling to adopt public clouds due to organizational and legal constraints. Some organizations who went to public cloud are looking for solution to avoid cloud vendor lock-in or costs explosion for specific cloud services. This is where hybrid or multi cloud strategy could be the way to start or accelerate public cloud journey. On the other hand hybrid and multi cloud strategy could introduce challenges in building applications architecture which spans multiple clouds or private and cloud data centers.
In this session we’ll discuss real life examples of applications architectures which are deployed in multiple clouds or private and cloud data centers and serve users traffic transparently accross them. We’ll focus on solving major challenges like Federated CI/CD for applications deployed in multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
We’ll also discuss how to manage multi cloud networking for application traffic ingress and data synchronization. We’ll also touch on day 2 topics management, monitoring and security.

Automating the construction and tuning of machine learning (ML) models has long been one of the goals of the ML community. This is due to several factors, most notably a sharp increase in the demand for tailored AI solutions, a relative scarcity of trained ML scientists, and the development of deep learning models with complex architectures requiring accurate design and fine-tuning. Existing automated machine learning (AutoML) techniques have been remarkably successful in identifying good parameters for a given model, sometimes even outperforming humans. However, these options either take too long to train or they work for only a handful of parameters. That’s why Azure Machine Learning uses probabilistic latent variable model to work with DNNs without needing to fully train them. Azure Machine Learning Services (AML) provides a cloud-based environment you can use to develop, train, test, deploy, manage, and track machine learning models. AutoML in the cloud will soon become mainstream. Join now.

Kubernetes was built to be extended. Such extensions allow users to integrate their fit-for-purpose solutions into the cluster or can be used to prototype new functionalities that might be added to official API in the future. Kubernetes provides two ways of extending its API: Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and API aggregation. This talk will go through and show differences between those two approaches. It will highlight weaknesses and strengths of both extension types and will try to show the best use case for each.

Na bazie naszego komercyjnego doświadczenia projektowego pokażemy Ci w jaki sposób zbudować aplikację, wykorzystując do tego komponenty dostępne wewnątrz chmury obliczeniowej Microsoft Azure. Rozwiązanie, które cechować się będzie dużą skalowalnością, przetwarzaniem dużych i nieregularnych zbiorów danych strumieniowych, oraz które będzie można zakwalifikować jako rozwiązanie z rodziny Big Data.
